AFRICA MAGIC VIEWERS CHOICE AWARDS 2015 NOMINATIONS LIST

Okay so last night was quite exciting for most of us who have been looking forward to the see what movies make got shortlisted for one of the biggest and most important award show in Africa.

It’s actually been a very big year for movie makers in Nigeria and Africa as a continent and it came to us not as a surprise to hear that over 2000 entries where submitted for the Third Editions of the Africa Magic viewer’s choice awards. The award show that started in 2013 by Africa magic in association with Multichoice has grown to be one of leading platform to reward Africa story tellers and has taken its place among awards shows such as the Africa International Film Festival Awards, The African Movie Academy Awards and has even been called the African equivalent of the American’s Emmy awards for recognizing TV series.

You can say that Nigeria is in the fore front of excellence this year for having been nominated in almost every category with Kunle Afolayan’s October 1 having 13 nomination, and movies such as Invasion 1987, Make a Move, When love happens and 30 days in Atlanta having multiple nominations.

In my next post I shall be discussing all the movies that have been been nominated and also predict all the possible winners in each categories plus I’ve also decided to give you a special rewiew of the top ten movies nominated for the AMVCA.
